Route notes · Source track to continuation

Keep the idea. Write the next stretch.

Start with audio you may use. The AI song extender uses that recording and your direction to generate a new continuation, which you can review before deciding what comes next.

  1. 01

    Upload your track

Choose an MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, or WebM file up to 25 MB. A clear song, loop, or demo gives the continuation a useful musical starting point.

  2. 02

    Describe what comes next

Name the energy, instruments, vocal direction, or section you want to hear. Keep one clear path instead of stacking conflicting changes.

  3. 03

    Generate, check the handoff, revise

Create a continuation and listen across the transition from your source audio. If the direction misses, change one detail and run another version.

Four next moves · One source track

When the song stops before the idea does

Use the original track as the anchor, then test a longer direction without claiming that every first transition will be release-ready.

Unfinished demos

Carry a short sketch into another section

Give a verse, hook, or rough arrangement room to continue so you can hear whether the idea wants a chorus, bridge, or calmer passage.

Loops and beats

Move beyond the first repeating phrase

Use a loop as the source and describe a development in texture, rhythm, or instrumentation instead of manually repeating the same bars.

Creator audio

Explore a longer background bed

Continue a music idea for a video, podcast, or game scene, then edit the result against the actual timeline in your production workflow.

Alternate directions

Compare how the next section could arrive

Keep the same upload while trying a softer landing, a larger final section, or a new instrumental turn in separate generations.

AI song extender questions

What the tool continues, what it accepts, and which timing and rights decisions remain yours.

What does the AI song extender do?

It uses the audio you upload as the source for a newly generated continuation guided by your prompt and selected music model. It creates new music rather than acting as a manual loop editor, so listen closely to the transition and arrangement before using the result.

Which audio files can I upload?

You can upload MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, or WebM audio up to 25 MB. Use a file you have permission to upload and extend.

Is the AI song extender free?

No. Anyone can explore the page, but generation requires sign-in and an active Pro or Ultra plan. Pro uses 100 credits per run; Ultra includes each run at 0 credits.

Can I choose an exact extension length or start time?

Not in the current interface. You upload one source file and describe how the track should continue; the service determines the generated continuation. If you need an exact edit length, trim or arrange the result in your audio editor after generation.

Can I use an extended song commercially?

Commercial use depends on the license terms for your current plan and export. You must also have the right to upload, adapt, and use the source audio. Review the applicable terms before releasing or monetizing the result.

Will the extension keep the same singer and musical style?

The current tool asks the model to continue from your uploaded audio using its original parameters. It is still a generated continuation, not a locked splice, so the voice character, melody, instrumentation, timing, or transition may vary. Keep the source file, compare the handoff, and plan on another run or a DAW edit when close continuity matters.
